DMI has received your Early Intervention Submission. Over the next 48 hours we will be setting up a new file for your employee and one of our Early Intervention Coordinators (EIC) will be making contact with them. Once we have spoken to your employee we will contact you with an update.
How We Help
During your employee’s absence from work, your DMI Early Intervention Coordinator will proactively follow up with your employee on a regular basis to check in on how they are doing and provide support during their recovery. They will update you following their communications with the employee, providing details on prognosis, functional limitations, return to work timelines and opportunities to support an early return to work. When the employee is ready to return to work they will work with you to develop a return to work plan that will promote a safe and sustainable return to work for the employee while still meeting your organizational needs.
Our Role With Benefit Applications
DMI will also coordinate the submission of any disability benefit applications, provide the necessary paperwork if necessary and will follow up with the insurance carrier on a regular basis regarding medical updates and to ensure that any required paperwork is completed in a timely fashion.
For more information about the Early Intervention Program, please feel free to contact DMI at 1-866-963-9995 for our British Columbia office, and 1-866-459-3066 for our Ontario office.
We look forward to working with you!
